2017 Track Information Meeting

If you missed the track information meeting, please see the document below and/or contact Coaches Wood or Christensen for more information.

Practices (conditioning) begins on February 23rd and will continue every school day after school.

Team Gear Order Form

Highlights (from the packet above).
  • Track is for all students, 7th - 9th grade
  • Track Practices begin on February 23rd at 3:00 p.m. and run until approximately 4:30 p.m. each day. (Monday practices will start one hour sooner.)
  • Track information packets may be picked up from coaches or downloaded above.
  • Pages 3-4 of the track packet are required reading regarding concussions.
  • Pages 5-6 of the track packet are the Pre-Participation Examination Form.
    This form should be completed and turned into the coaches as soon as possible.
    This form is the parental consent form that is required of each athlete prior to participation.
  • Pages 7-8 of the track packet are the physical evaluation form. This form is the form that is completed by a doctor.
    Each athlete is required to get a physical exam by a medical professional each year.
    This form may be used or you may give us a copy of a similar form that has been signed by a medical professional.
    (Scout Physical, Sports physical form for another sport, doctor printout, etc.)
  • All athletes are required to have insurance before participating.
    If you do not have insurance, you may get information on sports insurance that is available for student athletes at http://www.sas-mn.com/
    or you may pick up the same information from Coach Wood or the front office.
  • Uniforms are provided, however, optional team gear is available for purchase. Get an order form from Coach wood.
    TRACK GEAR ORDER FORMS are due to Coach Wood and payment can be made in the finance office.
    A limited supply of gear will be available in early March and the rest will be ordered, but may not make it in time for the first meet.
